Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We hold an active California C-10 Electrical Contractor license, #1034067. Commercial jobs are backed by $2,000,000 in general liability insurance, full workers’ compensation coverage, and an active contractor license surety bond.

Do you charge for estimates?
It depends on the service. Six services (Electric Panel Upgrade, Wiring, Generator Installation, Knob-and-Tube Wiring Replacement, ADU Electrical, and Aluminum Wiring Replacement) include a free service call and free estimate. Every other service has a standard call or estimate policy; we will always tell you upfront before a visit.
What does an electric panel upgrade cost?
Panel upgrades start from $850, though final pricing depends on your home’s electrical capacity, panel size, and permit requirements.

Do you offer financing?
Yes. We partner with Wells Fargo, EnerBank, and Synchrony Bank, including 0% APR options for up to 18 months on qualifying plans.

Are there rebates for EV chargers or panel upgrades?
Sometimes, depending on your utility territory and whether the upgrade is tied to a qualifying electrification project like a heat pump installation. Panel upgrades usually only qualify as an add-on, not standalone.

How fast can someone respond to an emergency?
Every location has its own local number staffed 24/7. Our average response to calls and forms is about 10 minutes, and emergency electricians typically arrive within 1 to 2 hours. We do our best to accommodate same-day requests, but we will never promise guaranteed same-day service; it depends on current demand.
Do you help with permits?
Yes. We help identify the permit type your project needs, assist with obtaining it, and our electricians bring real hands-on experience with local permitting in the areas we serve. Turnaround time varies by city, generally somewhere between a few days and a few weeks depending on scope and whether plan review is required.
Do you install heat pumps or HVAC equipment?
No. We are a licensed electrical contractor, not an HVAC company. When a heat pump or similar electrification project needs supporting electrical work, like a panel upgrade or a dedicated circuit, we handle that portion, working alongside your mechanical contractor.
What warranty do you offer?
Major installs, including panel upgrades, rewires, ADU subpanels, and generator hookups, carry a 10-year labor and workmanship guarantee, in addition to full manufacturer equipment warranties.
