EV Charger Installation Options

LEVEL 1

  • Little to No Installation:
At Level 1 your EV can be charged by simply using the cable that comes standard with your vehicle and can be plugged into any outlet in your garage. Although, a GFI receptacle is recommended for safety.

  • Home Electrical System:
Your Level 1 EV Charger will need to be on a dedicated electrical circuit which means you need to be certain that nothing else is plugged into an outlet on the same circuit.

  • Slow Charging:
Since the EV Charger is plugged into a normal household outlet of 110V charging time can be up to 12 hours, averaging 4.5 miles per hour of charging.
LEVEL 2

  • Additional Equipment Installation:
The Level 2 EV Charger is like having an electric fueling system right in your home. Usually mounted on a wall near where you park with a cable that plugs right into your Electric Vehicle.

  • Home Electrical System:
This EV charger uses 240V to operate, for safety it should be installed by a certified electrician who can ensure your current electrical panel can handle the increased voltage.

  • Fast Charging:
Due to the efficiency of charge time this option is the most popular among EV owners, charging your Electric Vehicle in about 3 to 4 hours!

Very nice guys. Good prices and fast work. I will definitely be back! They were able to work on one of my cars the same day and called me before they went ahead with the job.
