Financing Your Electrical Project

A necessary upgrade should not have to wait for the upfront cost. See how financing works and what a monthly payment could look like.

Two Ways to Manage Your Project Cost

There are two different ways we can help make an electrical project easier to afford, and they solve two different problems. Here is the short version of each, so you can jump straight to the one that fits your situation.

Option 1: Financing (this page)

Best for customers who need the work done now, want to pay over time instead of all at once, and are comfortable applying for a payment plan through one of our lending partners.

Option 2: Rebates & Incentives

Best for customers who are already planning a qualifying project, like adding a heat pump, and want to know if part of the electrical cost can be reduced through a utility or manufacturer program.

Which Option Applies to Me?

Financing

Rebates & Incentives

What it does

Spreads your project cost into monthly payments

Reduces your total project cost, if you qualify

Best for

Anyone who wants to pay over time

Projects tied to a qualifying electrification upgrade (like a heat pump)

Who approves it

The lending partner (Wells Fargo, EnerBank, or Synchrony Bank)

The utility, state, or manufacturer program

Guaranteed?

No, subject to lender approval

No, subject to program funding and eligibility

Can they be combined?

Yes, a rebate can lower the amount you finance

Yes, see Financing for the rest of the cost

What Does "0% APR" Actually Mean?

APR stands for Annual Percentage Rate, it is simply the yearly cost of borrowing money, including interest. A “0% APR” offer means there is no added interest charge for the length of the promotional period, as long as payments are made on time.

In plain terms: if you finance $2,000 at 0% APR, you pay back the same $2,000 total, just spread out into monthly payments, with nothing extra tacked on. Once the promotional period ends, standard lender terms may apply, so paying within the promotional window matters.

How Financing Works

1

Get a Quote

We assess your project and give you a real project cost before anything is financed.

2

Apply With a Lending Partner

A short application with Wells Fargo, EnerBank, or Synchrony Bank, not a full loan process.

3

Get a Decision

The lender reviews your application and lets you know if you are approved, along with rate and term.

4

We Schedule the Work

Once approved, we schedule your project like any other job, no separate waiting period.

5

Make Simple Monthly Payments

You pay the lender directly according to your approved term.

Our Lending Partners

We work with three lending partners, Wells Fargo, EnerBank, and Synchrony Bank, so more customers can find a plan that fits their project and their credit profile. When you apply, you are applying directly with that lender, not with us. The lender runs the credit check, makes the approval decision, and sets your exact rate and term. Once your financing is approved, we simply schedule and complete the work like any other project, and you make your payments directly to the lender.

Depending on the lender and your qualifications, plans may include no down payment and 0% APR for up to 18 months on qualifying projects. Approval and terms are subject to the lender’s review and are never guaranteed.

What Could Your Monthly Payments Look Like?

These are examples only, not quotes. If you finance a project like a panel upgrade, your estimated monthly payment could look like this:

~$44

/mo

Electric Panel Upgrade example

~$167

/mo

Full-House Rewire example

Your actual payment depends on your project’s real cost, the lender you choose, and the term you are approved for. Call us for a project-specific estimate before assuming either figure applies to your job.

What Projects Qualify

Financing is most commonly used for larger jobs. Smaller repairs are usually paid directly, but ask if you would rather finance a smaller project too.

Electric Panel Upgrade

Upgrading to 200A or higher to support modern electrical demand.

Whole-House or Partial Rewiring

Replacing outdated wiring throughout a home or a specific area.

Generator Installation

Standby power systems with automatic transfer switches.

EV Charger Installation

Level 1 and Level 2 charger installs.

ADU Electrical

Full electrical coordination for accessory dwelling unit builds.

Aluminum or Knob-and-Tube Replacement

Replacing outdated or unsafe wiring types.
